Jim Neville Wildlife Preserve

Biotica EcoTours hosted a sunset paddle around the mangrove islands in Jim Neville Wildlife Preserve. The evening light was amazing and lit everything with a touch of gold. We felt like putting our legs up and just floating on the still water. The bird life in the evening is astounding. Pelicans, cormorants, egrets and ibis perched on the mangrove branches in such numbers that they almost obscured the tiny roosting island. Roseate spoonbills waded in the shallows. This is truly a beautiful paddle.
